1. What is a dormant account?

When an account has no transactions, fund deposits, fund withdrawals, stock deposit, stock withdrawals, or updates to account information within a period of 2 years (other than transactions initiated by service such as fees, interest, corporate actions, dividends, bonus shares), the account will be classified as dormant.

Once your account becomes dormant, you will not be able to operate the account until we receives your instruction to reactivate it.

2. What should I do if I receive a notification saying my account will be inactive soon?

By performing a transaction, fund deposit, fund withdrawal, stock transfer, stock withdrawal, or updating account information on or before the specific date in the notification, you can keep your account active and valid.

3. How can I reactivate my dormant account?

Please visit a nearby branch or head office. Alternatively, you can download the「Dormant Account Reactivation Form」form and sign and return it to us for processing.

Please mail the completed form to “Delta Asia Securities Limited, 5/F Luk Kwok Centre, 72 Gloucester Road, Wanchai, Hong Kong”.
