2025.06.27 Macao SME Association Delegation to HK Concludes with Success

Delta Asia Financial Group has long been committed to supporting the development of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). On the International SME Day on 27 June, Mr. Stanley Au, Group Chairman and President of the Macao SME Association, led over 30 Macao SME owners on a visit to Hong Kong with the focus on market expansion and digital transformation.

The delegation first stopped at the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), where Miss Cathy Yip, Assistant Director of International and Mainland Relations, introduced how HKTDC assists SMEs in leveraging resources such as virtual exhibitions, big data analytics, and the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) to explore overseas markets, providing Macao enterprises with a roadmap for “going global.” Additionally, she presented the “T-box Upgrade and Transformation Program,” which supports SMEs in enhancing operational efficiency through digital tools.

The delegation then visited the Hong Kong headquarters of our Group where they were warmly received by Miss Lai-chong Au Group CEO, and her team. Mr. Ronald Lam, Head of Sales and Distribution, provided an overview of the Group’s businesses and services, emphasizing the synergistic development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and sharing the core advantages of the Group’s one-stop professional wealth management solutions.

Subsequently, the delegation toured the Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) and were welcomed by Miss Karen Fung, Chief Marketing Officer, and her team. Miss Fung introduced how HKPC prioritizes technology transfer and industrial upgrading, and the delegation observed real-world innovative applications. They also visited the Cradle Go Global Service Centre and learned about market adaptation, cross-border development, and industrial chain collaboration services designed to connect businesses with international resources.

Mr. Stanley Au remarked that Macao SMEs should actively draw on Hong Kong’s successful experiences, break free from traditional mindsets, and embrace new technologies to achieve modernization and smart transformation. Moving forward, he plans to propose the Macao Government to collaborate together to organize a “Macao-Hong Kong Technology Transfer Matching Conference,” promoting the adoption of AI, IoT, and digital technologies and injecting new momentum into the diversified development of Macao SMEs.

As a founding supporter of the Macao SME Association, we remain dedicated to empowering Macao SMEs in their transformation and upgrading, providing support, and deepening the role of the Greater Bay Area enterprise exchange platform to foster collaboration and unlock new opportunities.
