2024.08.29 Severe Weather Trading Arrangements for Hong Kong Securities and Derivatives Markets

Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) has recently issued guidelines and arrangements regarding “Severe Weather Trading of Hong Kong Securities and Derivatives Markets” (the “SWT”), which will take effect on 23 September, 2024.

After careful evaluation, Delta Asia Securities Limited and Delta Asia Financial Futures Limited (the “Company”) have decided to maintain the following essential services on SWT days:

* After the SWT takes effect, Cheque withdrawals will not be accepted. Funds related to cheques deposited in the bank before the SWT day can be utilized on the SWT day.

# After the SWT takes effect, physical stock transfers or deposits will not be accepted and the counter services of the head office and branch will be suspended.
